Advisory BoardLiquid Machines Public Sector Advisory Board is comprised of leaders from the federal, state and local, defense, and major vertical industries. The Board works together with Liquid Machines to examine market opportunities within federal and state & local governement agencies and recommend solutions to problems in the areas of data security, information assurance, and secure messaging.
Richard A. Clarke - DirectorRichard A. Clarke has served the last three Presidents of the United States of America as a senior White House Advisor. Over the course of an unprecedented 11 consecutive years of White House service, he held the titles of: Special Assistant to the President for Global Affairs; National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism; and Special Advisor to the President for Cyber Security. Prior to his White House years, Clarke served for 19 years in the Pentagon, the Intelligence Community, and State Department. As Chairman of Good Harbor Consulting, LLC, Clarke advises clients on a range of issues including: Corporate security risk management; Information security technology; Dealing with the Federal Government on security and IT issues; and Counterterrorism. He is currently an on-air consultant for ABC News. Roger W. Cressey - DirectorRoger W. Cressey is president of Good Harbor, advising clients on homeland security, cyber security and counterterrorism issues. He is currently an on-air counterterrorism analyst for NBC News. Previously, Mr. Cressey served as Chief of Staff to the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board at the White House from November 2001 to September 2002. From November 1999 to November 2001, Mr. Cressey served as Director for Transnational Threats on the National Security Council staff, where he was responsible for coordination and implementation of US counterterrorism policy. During this period, he managed the U.S. Government's response to the Millennium terror alert, the USS COLE attack, and the September 11th attacks. Prior to his White House service, Mr. Cressey served in the Department of Defense, including as Deputy Director for War Plans. From 1991 - 1995, he served in the Department of State working on Middle East Security issues. He has also served overseas with the US Embassy in Israel and with United Nations peacekeeping missions in Somalia and the former Yugoslavia. While in the former Yugoslavia, he was part of a United Nations team that planned the successful capture of the first individual indicted for war crimes in Croatia. Donald W. Upson - DirectorDonald W. Upson, former Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia, is the current president of ICG Government, a government management and consulting practice. Prior to that, Mr. Upson was president and CEO of Upson Group, LLC, an innovative technology consulting business he began in March of 2002. During his term of service to the Commonwealth, Upson took the initiative in addressing the needs of State and local government and presided as Chairman of the Governor’s Council on Technology Services (COTS). Mr. Upson has been a seven-time honoree and two-time judge for Federal Computer Week’s Federal 100, which lists the top 100 government and industry leaders in the federal information technology market. Israel Feldman - DirectorIsrael Feldman has more than 45 years experience in the Information Technology area. He is the founder of three trade publications serving the Federal IT market: Government Computer News (currently owned by the Washington Post), Enterprise Reengineering, and e-Gov Journal. Mr. Feldman has served as Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (now Health and Human Services), and as the Senior Information Technology Planning and Budget Officer for the United States Postal Service and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He also served on the Presidential Reorganization Project (PRP) whose mission was to modernize the use of IT in the Federal Government and adopt "Best Practices" in use in the Private Sector. He was elected as Chairman of the Inter-Agency Committee for ADP (IAC-ADP), a Government-wide Committee (managed by GSA) - representing all 80 Government Agencies. |
