External User ConnectorThe Liquid Machines External User Connector extends your secure working environment to authorized users outside the network and adds enterprise rights management policy protection to hundreds of file formats.
The Liquid Machines External User Connector provides employees and users outside your organization such as customers, suppliers or partners with easy, yet controlled access to Enterprise Rights Management protected content. The Viewer extends and enhances the ERM environment by allowing organizations to apply Liquid Machines or Microsoft Windows RMS policies to nearly 400 file types. Extend Enterprise Rights Management to hundreds of file types Protecting files with Liquid Machines rights management policies is no longer limited to just the most popular business applications. Organizations can now protect a wide range of files created by graphics, word processing, spreadsheet and database applications including: Lotus 1-2-3, Novell WordPerfect, Microsoft Access, Adobe PhotoShop, and AutoCAD as well as image files such as BMP, JPG and TIF files. Authors can apply policies using the Liquid Machines Policy Droplet™ control interface directly within the Viewer, or automatically using any of the Liquid Machines gateway products -- which can encrypt content when added to network file shares, checked out of Microsoft SharePoint or PTC Windchill® PLM systems. Safely distribute native files that contain intellectual property or sensitive data to users outside your network The Liquid Machines External User Connector makes it easy to share sensitive documents with customers, suppliers and partners, while maintaining complete control over access rights, offline use, auditing of user activity, and automatic policy updates. To support installation in the widest range of external user environments, the Liquid Machines Viewer agent does not require the user to have administrative privileges nor a system reboot. At just 14MB, the installation file is easily distributed. Why should you use the Liquid Machines External User Connector?
