Marketed as Brainloop’s Secure Dataroom platform, the joint solution will allow customers to persistently control access to and usage of confidential documents across the extended enterprise.
Brainloop AG’s award-winning Secure Dataroom platform offers customers a secure web-based document management and project collaboration solution for editing and distributing confidential documents. In August 2005, Brainloop added support for Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) to extend protection of confidential documents to the desktop and make it possible for customers to enforce specific usage rights on Microsoft Office 2003 documents such as editing, printing, and forwarding to others even after documents have been distributed and opened by authorized users.
“We are pleased that Brainloop has chosen Liquid Machines to enhance the Brainloop Secure Dataroom server software and welcome them as our exclusive solution reseller partner in Germany and Austria,” said Mike Jacobs, vice president of global sales at Liquid Machines. “Together, our solutions offer customers a comprehensive document management and security platform that further extends the power, productivity and return on their Microsoft investments.”
“Combining the best-of-breed components, Brainloop Secure Dataroom, Microsoft Rights Management Services, and Liquid Machines Document Control are the perfect integrated solution set for organizations seeking to leverage their investments in the Microsoft Office 2003 platform in order to define and enforce document access policies across the extended enterprise,” says Petter Bergström, Senior Security Architect, Microsoft Germany.
